Learning Disability Network London has supported people with learning disabilities, their families and carers across the capital since 1962. By the end of 2025, its website asked a parent to choose between five identical buttons before it had told them anything. Its well-loved brand colours were also failing basic contrast checks. And Another Day brought us in as design partner and led the build, and we redesigned the site around the questions people arrive with.

The Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute is one of the largest cancer research centres in Europe. It can't compete with commercial salaries, so its website has to show talented scientists why the work and the people are worth joining. At the end of 2023, the site read like an internal noticeboard, with academic paper titles, seminar listings and a staff intranet link in the main menu. Working as Creative Director with Rubber Cheese, we designed a site that explains the science in plain English and puts the Institute's people at the front.
